Manager of WBA, WBO, IBO, and IBF heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk (21-0, 14 KOs), Egis Klimas, reacted to the cancellation of his client's bout against Tyson Fury:
"Fury is a coward who will do anything to avoid facing Usyk; he asked his girlfriend to hit him with a frying pan on the forehead.
You can quote me word for word.
When Oleksandr heard the news, he just smiled. That's all he did. He is too psychologically strong to be broken," said Klimas.
The Usyk vs. Fury fight was scheduled for February 17. Tyson suffered a cut during sparring in the training camp. The new date for the fight is currently unknown.
