The manager of former champion Tyson Fury, Spencer Brown, wants to see less criticism of his client in the media and on social networks.
– In the British media, they love to kick people who have failed. Social networks can also be a toxic place. As Tyson's manager, does it disappoint you to see this attitude towards someone who has done so much for the country?
– Of course, but we have a different audience where everyone has their own opinion. If someone doesn't like me, there's nothing I can do about it. If I want to express something on social media, I can say whatever I want. I can call you anything within reasonable limits, and no one will say anything.
We know Tyson has bipolar disorder. We know he sometimes says things he shouldn't say. But I think we need to give him a chance. I've met many wonderful people, but he is one of the best people in the world.
You can say whatever you want, I don't care who says what. I want him to win, just to leave his legacy where it should be," Brown said.
Fury's next fight is likely to be a rematch against Usyk. There is already an approved date.
