WBC champion Tyson Fury (34-0-1, 24 KOs) spoke positively about WBA, WBO, IBO, and IBF heavyweight champion and Ready To Fight co-founder Oleksandr Usyk (21-0, 14 KOs).
"I'm training hard in preparation for Usyk, doing my best.
I respect Usyk as a person because he is a believer and a family man, just like I am. So I respect that more than any other boxing achievement.
I also respect his boxing career because he was an Olympic champion, an undisputed cruiserweight champion, and he is a unified champion, so you have to respect such achievements.
I'm not fighting guys with a 14-11 record. I'm meeting fighters who are called The Real Deal, though The Real Deal is Holyfield. I'm ready for this challenge," said Fury.
The Fury-Usyk fight will take place on May 18 in Saudi Arabia. For the first time in heavyweight history, all four major championship titles will be on the line.
