Former heavyweight world champion Tyson Fury has reignited talks of a potential trilogy fight with Oleksandr Usyk, following the Ukrainian’s recent comments about possible opponents for the final bout of his career.
Usyk, who currently holds the WBA, WBC, WBO, and IBO belts, stated he plans to have two more fights, with one possible opponent being Fury himself.
The British giant wasted no time in responding:
“I beat that dosser twice, and the whole world knows it.
Anytime, anywhere. Next time — Britain, 100,000 people.”
Fury announced his retirement after suffering two losses in 2024, one of which came against Usyk by unanimous decision in December. Despite the back-to-back defeats, his latest message makes it clear: he’s ready to run it back.
