WBC super heavyweight champion (over 90.7 kg) Tyson Fury (34-0-1, 24 KOs) claims that Anthony Joshua (27-3, 24 KOs) lacks the tools to defeat the holder of the WBO, WBA, IBF, and IBO titles, Oleksandr Usyk (21-0, 14 KOs), after having been defeated by him twice.
"Usyk has beaten Joshua a few times. We've all seen those fights. It's one of those situations where Anthony couldn't do anything against this guy. Leave Usyk to me. A little southpaw, I'll kill him, no problem. Twice, if he wants to be handed over to the great Gypsy King," said Fury.
Anthony Joshua fought Oleksandr Usyk twice, in 2021 and 2022. Both times, the Ukrainian defeated the Briton by unanimous and split decision, respectively.
On March 8th, Joshua will fight Francis Ngannou (0-1), and on May 18th, Tyson Fury will face Usyk in a bout for the absolute championship in the royal division. Both events will take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
