Fury on the Fight with Usyk: "The Fight of the Century"

In an interview for Queensberry Promotions, WBC super heavyweight champion (over 90.7 kg) Tyson Fury (34-0-1, 24 KOs) spoke about the significance of the world absolute championship fight against the holder of the WBO, WBA, IBO, and IBF titles Oleksandr Usyk (21-0, 14 KOs).

"The fight of the century. I would call it that because it's true. Here you have someone who defeated Joshua, Chisora, and Dubois, and I've beaten Wilder three times, Dillian Whyte, and also [Vladimir] Klitschko.

So, these are the last two standing. A few years ago, Usyk wasn't even [in the top of the heavyweight division]. Only Joshua allowed him to step through that door.

At one point, we had three monsters – the Gypsy King, Wilder, and Joshua.

Wilder was knocked out by the Gypsy King, and Joshua was knocked out by the Ukrainian nomad.

So, it's just me left. The last hero. I've done it. However, we continue. We keep going until there's no one left," said Fury.

The fight between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk will take place on May 18 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
