"Now I'm Damn Scared": Fury on Usyk

WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury (34-0-1, 24 KOs) from Britain has expressed his concerns about the upcoming fight against WBA, WBO, and IBF champion Oleksandr Usyk (21-0, 14 KOs) due to Usyk's ability to study and emulate the styles of the best boxers.

- You once dressed up as Batman for a press conference. And Usyk recently dressed up as the Joker. Do you think he's in your head? Is he observing you and doing this deliberately? Is he sending you a message like that?

- Yes, I actually looked at that before and thought to myself. You know, this guy is slowly getting into my mind and destabilizing me from the inside. I'm not even sure I'll be able to land a single punch come fight night because he's got me so locked up. He's studied the greats and copied my style. Now I'm damn scared. Now I'm really frightened. God, forgive my swearing. I'm genuinely scared, he copies my style, everything I do: the talking, the appearances at press conferences, dressing up as different characters from Marvel movies. I just can't wait to see what he's got in store for this fight. I'm really becoming a big fan of his, - Fury said.

Usyk and Fury will meet on May 18th in Saudi Arabia. At stake will be the status of the undisputed world heavyweight champion for the first time since 1999.
