Fury's Manager: "He Hasn't Slept for 3 Days"

In an interview with the YouTube channel Boxing King Media, the manager of WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury (34-0-1, 24 KOs), Spencer Brown, revealed the reasons behind the contrasting performances of his client and Anthony Joshua (28-3, 25 KOs) against Francis Ngannou (0-2, 0 KOs).

"I'm going to give you the reason, and this is exclusive – he hasn't slept for three days. That's the reason for the poor performance. You can take it however you want, but I was there and saw everything.

He couldn't sleep. We've now addressed this issue; he went to a new camp, and everything is great there, he can sleep as much as he wants," Brown said.

In Francis Ngannou's debut fight on October 28, Fury was knocked down but won by a split decision. In his second fight against Anthony Joshua, Ngannou lost by knockout in the second round.

On May 18 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Tyson Fury will fight WBO, WBA, IBO, and IBF titleholder Oleksandr Usyk (21-0, 14 KOs) for the undisputed heavyweight world championship title.
