Fury to Klimas: "I'm not a damn coward"

WBC super heavyweight champion Tyson Fury (34-0-1, 24 KOs) engaged in a dispute with Egis Klimas, the manager of WBA, WBO, IBO, and IBF titleholder Oleksandr Usyk (21-0, 14 KOs). After learning about the fight's postponement, Klimas stated, "Fury is a damn coward who will do anything to avoid facing Usyk."

Fury responded to this, saying, "Never call me a coward again. I've had 35 professional fights and dedicated 18 years of my life to boxing. I've risen from the canvas 10 times against some of the hardest hitters in history to win. I am by no means a coward. I've never backed down from any opponent in my life. And if anyone calls my wife a ###, I'll rip their damn teeth out."

"I didn't call your wife a ###. I don't do that crap," said Klimas.

"Well, I apologize for that because I thought you said that about my wife. But I'm not a damn coward," said Fury.

The Usyk vs. Fury fight has been rescheduled for May 18.
