"Let's Spar, Tyson!" - Richard Torrez's Call to Join Fury in the Ring

American heavyweight hotshot Richard Torrez is throwing down the gauntlet to WBC champ Tyson Fury, saying,

"If he threw me a sparring invite, I'd be all over it. Tyson Fury, hit me up, man. I'm itching to be your sparring buddy. I'd be pumped to get in the mix.

When I was 18, he slid into my Instagram DMs, saying, 'Dig your moves, kid, keep swinging.' Man, that was epic. He goes, 'Rooting for you in everything, been eyeballing your amateur fights.' Holy smokes, that just made my year.

This was before the Olympics before I was even a blip on the radar. He was scouting amateur bouts and reaching out. That's some real-deal stuff, and I'm super thankful," shared Torrez.

The Usyk vs. Fury showdown is set to light up Saudi Arabia on February 17.
