Fury Talks About Important Change in the Fight Against Usyk

On May 18 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, WBC heavyweight champion (over 90.7 kg) Tyson Fury (34-0-1, 24 KOs) and the holder of the WBA, WBO, IBF, and IBO titles, Oleksandr Usyk (21-0, 14 KOs), will face off for the undisputed heavyweight champion title.

Ahead of the fight, Fury shared that he will likely change his stance to suit his future opponent, recalling his 2014 bout against Derek Chisora (34-13, 23 KOs), who has faced both Tyson and Usyk.

I'll probably change my stance. I always do that.

But in the 2014 rematch with Chisora, you fought the entire fight in a southpaw stance, and Derek couldn't do anything against you.

Chisora is much more predictable than Usyk. Oleksandr is much craftier. We saw Derek fight brilliantly against Usyk. It was a really close fight.

You once said you thought Chisora beat Usyk.

I thought he beat him or at least deserved a draw, but he lost by a couple of rounds, which is fair. One guy was undefeated and on the rise; the other already had around 10 losses. The win went to the undefeated man. But I think my will and determination will be stronger than his that night.

Derek Chisora has fought Tyson Fury three times and Oleksandr Usyk once - each time, the Briton suffered defeat.
