Fury Promises to Write on IBF Title

Former heavyweight champion Tyson Fury expressed his dissatisfaction that the IBF title will not be at stake in the rematch against Oleksandr Usyk.

Of course, I’m not that good of a boxer to win their belt again. I’m not even in their top 15. I don’t understand what’s going on, especially after I paid them a ton of money just to fight for that crap. The IBF title is a piece of junk, and I’ll write on it when I take it,” Fury said.

The IBF champion is Daniel Dubois, who obtained the title when Oleksandr Usyk vacated it. Dubois then defended the title in a bout against Anthony Joshua, winning by knockout in the 5th round.

The second encounter between Usyk and Fury is scheduled for December 21 in Saudi Arabia.
