Fury Explains Why Fight Against Usyk on February 17 Didn't Happen

British WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury (34-0-1, 24 KOs) commented on the postponement of the fight against the holder of the WBA, WBO, IBF, and IBO titles, Oleksandr Usyk (21-0, 14 KOs).

The fight was originally scheduled for February 17th, but was moved to May 18th due to a cut Fury received.

"At first, I was a bit upset. On the first day or so. But afterwards, like everything in life, I realized that God's timing is perfect, absolutely. It's not late, not early, it's very timely. It wasn't my time yet to fight for the championship title, but May 18th will be my time," Fury said.

The fight for the title of absolute world heavyweight champion between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk is scheduled for May 18th in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
