Fury explained why Usyk defeated Joshua in the rematch

Briton Anthony Joshua (24-3, 22 KOs) could defeat Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk (20-0, 13 KOs) only thanks to one successful blow. Our compatriot is superior to the Watford native in every way and his triumph in the rematch on August 20 only confirmed his high class and boxing skills.

British champion Tyson Fury (32-01, 23 KOs) expressed this opinion in an interview with The Ring magazine. He added that Joshua showed his best form in his career, but it is not enough to defeat Usyk.

"Usyk is smarter and more cunning. I don't think Joshua could have done anything better. He tried his best. There's no shame in losing to a better guy that night. That's what happened. Usyk is better than Joshua in every way. That's it - the end. If they had fought five times, Joshua could have won one thanks to the lakipunch. But the law of statistics says that the smaller and better boxer wins Joshua every time," Tyson emphasized.
