WBC heavyweight champ Tyson Fury voiced his respect for Oleksandr Usyk, his upcoming adversary.
"He's a God-fearing man, like myself. In boxing, we're two of the top Christians, both unbeaten. He trains his way, I train mine. But in the end, it's who God picks to win. It doesn't matter if you're from the streets or a palace - it's God's chosen who triumphs. My respect for you tops all other boxers, it's your faith in God. That's why I respect you."
Fury emphasizes the rarity of their match-up: "We're both champs, sure. But facing another champ who also has faith in God? That's extraordinary," he says.
Mark the date: the Usyk-Fury face-off is slated for February 17 in Saudi Arabia.
