Fury on Joshua Fight: “Even If We’re 50 Years Old”

On September 21 at Wembley Stadium in London, UK, IBF heavyweight titleholder Daniel Dubois (22-2, 21 KOs) knocked out Anthony Joshua (28-4, 25 KOs), seemingly derailing the much-anticipated fight between AJ and Tyson Fury (34-1-1, 24 KOs).

However, Tyson himself insists that the fight will happen eventually in a packed Wembley Stadium.

Joshua knows that this fight will happen. Even if we’re 50 years old, he’ll have to fight me. He won’t be able to avoid it. Even if we’re 50, we’ll still sell out Wembley. That’s a fact,” Fury said.

In May, Tyson Fury failed to become the first undisputed heavyweight champion in 25 years (over 90.7 kg), losing to Oleksandr Usyk (22-0, 14 KOs) by split decision. The rematch is scheduled for December 21 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
