A Stool Was Needed: Fundora and Thurman Face Off

WBC Junior Middleweight Champion Sebastian Fundora and former world champion Keith Thurman held their face-off, where the 36-year-old Thurman had to stand on a stool.

Fundora stands 197 cm tall, while Thurman is 177 cm.

The fight will take place on October 25 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, USA, broadcast on Amazon Prime PPV.

In March 2024, Sebastian Fundora (23-1-1, 15 KOs) stepped in for the injured Thurman against Tim Tszyu and won by split decision. The 27-year-old last fought on July 19 in a rematch with Tszyu, winning after the Australian’s corner stopped the fight (RTD 7).

In March, Keith Thurman (31-1, 23 KOs) returned after more than three years, stopping Brock Jarvis by third-round TKO.
