The highly anticipated bout between WBC and WBO junior middleweight champion Sebastian Fundora (21–1–1, 13 KOs) and Errol Spence (28–1, 22 KOs) has been canceled, according to ESPN insider Mike Coppinger.
Originally slated for October and later rescheduled for March 29, the fight will no longer take place. Now, Fundora is on the hunt for a new challenger for the first defense of his two titles. Among the potential opponents being considered is Charles Conwell (21–0, 16 KOs).
In March, Sebastian Fundora won a split decision over Tim Tszyu. Errol Spence last stepped into the ring in July 2023, suffering a third-round TKO loss to Terence Crawford.
