Fundora Claims Bogachuk is the Ideal Title Opponent

American junior middleweight (up to 69.9 kg) Sebastian Fundora (20-1-1, 13 KOs) expresses his preference for facing Ukrainian Serhii Bohachuk (23-1, 23 KOs) in his title bout, rather than any other fighter.

"We've been constantly sparring with Bohachuk. I've sparred a lot with him before facing Ve Shawn Owens and my next opponent after that.

We stopped sparring around 2019, maybe early 2020. We've sparred thousands of rounds together with Bohachuk. But that's in the past, now we've both evolved as fighters.

It's a great honor for me to have shared so many rounds with him. I wouldn't want my first world title fight to be against anyone else. He's a forward-moving, heavy-hitting fighter. I know he might be stronger now, but I see the same aggressive style.

My job is to show the difference between us on March 30th," Fundora stated.

The matchup is scheduled for March 30 in Las Vegas. The winner will become the WBC champion.
