American journalist and insider Dan Rafael posted a report from the Nevada State Athletic Commission on the health status of Tim Tszyu (24-1, 17 KOs) and Sebastian Fundora (21-1-1, 13 KOs) following their fight on his Twitter.
According to the document, Fundora will be unable to box for 6 months due to a nose injury.
Sebastian Fundora and Tim Tszyu clashed for the WBC and WBO super welterweight titles (up to 69.85 kg) on the night of March 31. At the end of the second round, Tszyu encountered an elbow with his forehead and suffered a cut. As a result of the confrontation, Fundora won by split decision.
