Froch: "Tyson Will Be Paid Less if He Knocks Out Paul"

Former champion and current analyst Carl Froch revealed an interesting detail about the upcoming fight between former undisputed champion Mike Tyson (50-6, 44 KOs) and YouTuber Jake Paul (9-1, 6 KOs).

"From what I've heard about the contracts, supposedly Tyson will be paid less if he wins in the first round, or if he wins by knockout, he gets paid even less.

There are restrictions in his contract based on how he wins. I don't know if this is confirmed, but I read somewhere that there is a clause in his contract that means he will earn less money if he goes into the ring and destroys Jake Paul," Froch said.

Mike Tyson, who will turn 58 next month, is set to face 27-year-old Jake Paul on July 20 in Arlington, Texas, USA. This will be the first fight to be live-streamed by Netflix.

The bout is officially sanctioned as a professional heavyweight fight, and the result will be officially recorded in the athletes' records.
