Froch to Train Actors for New Boxing Film "Salvable"

In an interview with TalkSport Boxing, former champion Carl Froch shared an unexpected turn in his career — the Briton has received an offer from Hollywood and will be preparing actors to play boxers in a new film titled "Salvable."

"I'm going to be training. It's not a fighter, but an actor. Actually, two actors. One is called Toby Kebbell. You might remember him from the film 'RocknRolla'. The other is Shia LaBeouf, who starred in 'Transformers'. I'll be training them for the film 'Salvable'.

I'm heading to New York for a week to train these guys. I'm really excited about this offer. Froch on Fighting (Carl's podcast) is going to Hollywood.

Teaching someone is interesting, but it takes a lot of time. I have three young children, I wouldn't want to spend too much time away from home," said Froch.

The plot of "Salvable" centers on an illegal fight participant nicknamed "The Bull," who must overcome not only his opponent in the ring but also himself, to build a normal relationship with his daughter.
