Froch Decisively Against Tyson-Paul Fight

Former world champion Brit Carl Froch commented on the announced fight between American YouTuber and boxer Jake Paul (9-1, 6 KOs) and former world champion Mike Tyson (50-6, 44 KOs).

"This clown, damn Jake Paul, fighting Mike Tyson… I'll rip Jake Paul apart on my podcast, which I've done several times already. I really will destroy him. I'll also have a go at Mike Tyson.

He's such a big name that he can always make money on his own, Mike Tyson doesn’t need to jump into the ring with Jake Paul. And he'll lose the fight, whether he wants to lose, really gets beaten by someone who's 25, 26 – and he's about 60.

It's so dismissive to our sport – to put someone like Mike Tyson, who is an icon of the sport, together with a clown like the non-fighter Jake Paul.

We saw he can’t box in the fight against novice Tommy Fury. They come in and make a fortune because they're followed by kids. They can make money off it, but fighting Mike Tyson is disrespectful.

I'll put it right because I'll talk about it. It's wrong," said Froch.

The Paul vs. Tyson fight will be the main event of a boxing evening to be held on July 20 at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
