American Jermaine Franklin (22-2, 14 KOs) believes he can pose a real threat to the undisputed heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk (22-0, 14 KOs).
«I only saw snippets of the Fury vs. Usyk fight, but I think my punching power is much stronger than those guys. Usyk can hit and move against big heavyweights, he has very good footwork. But I think my punching power could work against him better than most other fighters in the division.
I still consider myself a top boxer. Just trying to get back into the best fights. I’m morally and physically ready to take on the challenge of the next big fight,» said Franklin.
Franklin will face Devin Vargas in his next fight on May 23. Usyk became the undisputed champion on the night of May 19, outboxing Tyson Fury (34-1-1, 24 KOs).
