Frank Warren Suggests Adeleye as Next Opponent for Allen

Frank Warren, founder and head of Queensberry Promotions, believes British Heavyweight David Allen could face fellow countryman David Adeleye in his next fight.

“I don’t want to sound disrespectful — they did a good job with the promotion — but there are different levels in boxing, and I think people sometimes forget that.

Dave Allen always shows courage — he’s a good guy — but he was beaten quite decisively. Everyone operates at different levels. It’s a shame he lost, but perhaps right now, a good matchup for him would be someone like David Adeleye.

Adeleye needs to get back in the ring and rebuild after his last fight,” said Warren.

On October 11, David Allen (24-8-2, 19 KOs) lost to Arslanbek Makhmudov by unanimous decision.

David Adeleye (14-2, 13 KOs) last fought in August, dropping a unanimous decision to Filip Hrgovic.
