Frank Warren Reveals When Itauma Will Fight Next

Frank Warren, founder of Queensberry Promotions and promoter of British Heavyweight prospect Moses Itauma, has spoken about his fighter’s next step.

“He’ll be back in the ring before the end of the year. There are big expectations for him, though I’m tempering them because of his age and other factors.

This young man has already had 13 fights and never boxed in the senior amateur ranks, so what he’s achieved is incredible. Inevitably, he’ll step into a truly big fight, and then we’ll see what he’s capable of,” Warren said.

On August 16, 20-year-old Moses Itauma (13-0, 11 KOs) scored a dominant first-round TKO over Dillian Whyte.

Recently, Itauma climbed to the top of the updated WBA Heavyweight rankings. Above him are Fabio Wardley with the interim title and Kubrat Pulev with the regular belt. The WBA Super Champion in the division is Oleksandr Usyk, who holds all the other major world titles.
