"I Didn’t Like It Very Much." Frank Warren Criticizes Dubois' Actions After Usyk – Fury Fight

Frank Warren, the founder and head of Queensberry Promotions, commented on the actions of his client, IBF heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois (22-2, 21 KOs).

The incident occurred during the rematch between WBA, WBC, WBO, and IBO titleholder Oleksandr Usyk (23-0, 14 KOs) and former champion Tyson Fury (34-2-1, 24 KOs), when, after the result was announced, Dubois entered the ring, grabbed the microphone from the announcer, and called out the Ukrainian for a fight.

"He got in the ring, and I wasn’t expecting him to grab the mic – I didn’t like it very much. However, he did what many fighters have done in the past, challenging their opponents. I don’t think it was the right moment, but he did it. What can I do about it? Nothing. Daniel has a tough fight coming up in February, and that’s what he should be thinking about right now.

The most important thing for him now is to focus on the fight against Joseph Parker. It will be a tough fight for both of them. It’s a good fight, and I’m looking forward to it. After that, we’ll see how things unfold," said Warren.

As a reminder, on December 21, Oleksandr Usyk defeated Tyson Fury by unanimous decision, retaining his titles.

On February 22, Daniel Dubois will defend his IBF title against Joseph Parker.
