Warren on Joyce’s Future: "Let Him Think It Through Carefully"

Queensberry Promotions chief Frank Warren has shared his thoughts on the future of British heavyweight Joe Joyce (16-4, 15 KOs) following his unanimous decision defeat to Croatia’s Filip Hrgović (18-1, 14 KOs).

“He needs to seriously think about his future—and that’s exactly what he’s going to do,” Warren said. “He’s been a great ambassador for British boxing, never in a dull fight, and incredibly durable.

He proudly represented us at the Olympics—a silver medalist who should’ve won gold. Let him take his time and think everything through,” Warren said.

As a reminder, Joyce was defeated by Hrgović on April 5 by unanimous decision. After the fight, Joyce was asked whether he plans to continue his career.
