Foster Defends Title for the Second Time

On February 16th at Madison Square Garden in New York, USA, WBC super featherweight champion (up to 58.96 kg) O'Shaquie Foster (21-2, 12 KOs) made his second title defense in a bout against Abraham Nova (23-1, 16 KOs).

The fight concluded with Foster's victory by split decision. The judges' scores were 114-113 (Nova) and 115-112, 116-111 (Foster).

Foster captured the title on February 11, 2023, with a unanimous decision victory over Rey Vargas. In his previous two fights, Nova defeated Jonathan Romero (35-2, 19 KOs) and Adam Lopez (17-5, 6 KOs).
