Former world champion Parker beat Massey by points

Ex-world heavyweight champion Joseph Parker from New Zealand defeated the British Jack Massey.

The fight took place in Manchester on the undercard of the main fight of the evening Chris Eubank Jr. - Liam Smith. The New Zealander won by unanimous decision of the judges (96–93, 97–92, 97–93).

In his previous fight for the WBO interim super heavyweight title, Parker lost by knockout to Great Britain's Joe Joyce.
