On the night of August 24, Floyd Mayweather will step into the ring for his eighth exhibition match. His opponent will be John Gotti III, a boxer and MMA fighter whom Mayweather has already faced before.
In their first encounter, Gotti was disqualified after repeatedly ignoring the referee's warnings. The situation escalated when the referee stopped the fight, leading Gotti to lunge at Mayweather, sparking a brawl between both teams that continued even backstage.
The rematch between Mayweather and Gotti will take place in Mexico City, Mexico. The official broadcaster for the fight is DAZN, and it will be available on a pay-per-view basis.
