British heavyweight Johnny Fisher says he is ready to step into the ring against fellow countryman and rising prospect Moses Itauma.
“I’d love to fight him — 100%. I’d fight anyone. Tell him to get his checkbook out — I’d fight anybody for the right amount of money.
But I think Hrgovic would be a good fight for him. Now he can dictate things a bit, and he’s only 20 years old. He’s got so much time ahead of him. He’s in no rush at all. And I’m sure we’ll be seeing him at the top of the heavyweight division for many, many years,” Fisher said.
On December 6, Johnny Fisher (13-1, 11 KO) will face Ugandan heavyweight Herbert Matovu. This will be Fisher’s first appearance since his loss to David Allen in May.
Moses Itauma (13-0, 11 KO) last fought in August, when he stopped Dillian Whyte by technical knockout in the first round.
