Croatian boxer Filip Hrgovic, boasting an impressive record of 15 undefeated bouts, has expressed his confidence in a potential fight against former world champion Anthony Joshua. Hrgovic is certain he can vanquish Joshua.
"I’ll destroy him. I think I’ll destroy him. If he comes in this shape [like he did against Franklin] I’ll destroy him. I expected more [against Franklin]. I thought he was going to knock him out, but he was too cautious and didn’t let his hands go," Hrgovic stated.
Hrgovic also commented on Joshua's recent performance against Franklin, observing that the British boxer didn't demonstrate the superior skills one would anticipate from a former two-time champion. He thinks Joshua needs more bouts to regain his top form and reclaim his position among the heavyweight elite.
"He was a little bit slow and sleepy, not aggressive. If he wants to become champion again then I’m in his way. I’m IBF mandatory and he should fight me next," Hrgovic asserted.
Filip Hrgovic's assertive remarks are stirring up a buzz among boxing enthusiasts, leading to widespread speculation about a future face-off between him and Anthony Joshua. Fans of boxing worldwide are now on tenterhooks, eagerly anticipating this potentially thrilling matchup.
