Gervonta Davis vs. Lamont Roach Fight Postponed

According to insider Dan Rafael, the fight between WBA lightweight champion Gervonta Davis (30-0, 28 KOs) and WBA super featherweight champion Lamont Roach (25-1-1, 10 KOs) has been postponed.

The bout was initially scheduled for December 14, 2024, but sources now report that the clash will take place in 2025.

"I've heard the fight will happen in January," Davis himself confirmed.

The new tentative date is January 25. Davis last fought in the summer of 2024, scoring a knockout victory over Frank Martin. Roach also stepped into the ring once in 2024, delivering a knockout win against Feargal McCrory.
