“He Won’t Get to Shakur.” Bold Statement from Tevin Farmer Ahead of Fight with William Zepeda

Former world champion Tevin Farmer is confident that after his bout against him, William Zepeda will no longer be a contender for the WBC lightweight champion Shakur Stevenson.

I’m a veteran. On November 16, I’m going to step in and beat the guy everyone fears—that’s William Zepeda. I’ll be in the best shape of my life.

They say that my style is similar to Shakur’s. I’m the guy they want to use to test whether William is ready for Stevenson. But I can promise you that he won’t get to Shakur,” said Farmer.

Farmer and Zepeda will meet on November 16 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This fight will take place on the undercard of the unification bout between cruiserweight champions Chris Billam-Smith and Gilberto Ramirez.
