"A Wall That Needs to Be Broken" – Fabio Wardley Ready to Challenge Dubois

British heavyweight Fabio Wardley (18-0-1, 17 KOs) responded to whether he would accept a fight against IBF heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois (22-2, 21 KOs) if given the opportunity.

"Absolutely. 100 percent, I would take it because you never know when you'll get another chance. Boxing is a strange game. You can make plans, build strategies, but things don’t always go as expected. So if an opportunity comes my way, if it’s right in front of me, I’ll grab it with both hands.

I’ve gone through all the preparation stages, taken all the necessary steps. I’ve fought grueling 12-round battles, faced bigger and smaller opponents, punchers, technical masters, and experienced amateurs—everyone who has stood in my way.

Throughout my career, I’ve taken on every challenge put before me and overcome them. So this level isn’t something drastically new for me. It’s just another step forward, another opportunity, another wall that needs to be broken.", said Wardley.

In October, Wardley dominated Frazer Clarke, stopping him by first-round TKO. Clarke required an oxygen mask after the fight, followed by surgery on his jaw and facial bones.

On February 22, Daniel Dubois will defend his title against Joseph Parker.
