Former world champion and renowned boxing analyst Johnny Nelson shared his expectations for the heavyweight showdown between IBF champion Daniel Dubois (22-2, 21 KOs) and WBO interim champion Joseph Parker (35-3, 23 KOs).
"At 27, Daniel is moving in the right direction, and his style suits him well. Joseph Parker is a smart fighter who knows how to disrupt his opponents' game plans.
The current version of Dubois is like a fast-moving train heading in the right direction. His partnership with Don Charles is paying off—Charles knows how to work with Daniel.
I’d say this fight is 50-50. Either Dubois steamrolls Joseph, or Parker sticks to his game plan and outboxes him over 12 rounds," Nelson said.
The Dubois vs. Parker fight is set for February 22 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Full fight analysis and stats available via Ready to Fight.
