Expert Considers Possibility of Crawford vs. Bohachuk Fight

Renowned American professional boxing judge and ESPN KnockOut expert Fernando Barbosa has stated that a fight between Terence Crawford (40-0, 31 KOs) and Serhii Bohachuk (24-1, 23 KOs) looks spectacular. However, the possibility of organizing a title fight for Crawford in a new weight category largely depends on Turki Al Sheikh.

"I'm eagerly awaiting the first visit of His Excellency Turki Al Sheikh to the USA along with Terence Crawford. We all know that the Crawford vs. Fundora fight will not happen, which is why Errol was in the ring that Saturday after the fight.

I like the idea of a Crawford vs. Bohachuk fight in Los Angeles or Vegas for the interim WBC middleweight belt. Wishing for what I want to happen," wrote Barbosa.

Bohachuk is the "interim" WBC middleweight champion. The full champion in the same version is Sebastian Fundora, who will not be able to box for the next six months due to injury. Terence Crawford is looking for options for his debut in a new weight category and wants a title fight.
