Ex-Klitschko Cutman: "Usyk Might Target Fury's Brow"

In an interview with the YouTube channel Seconds Out, Jacob Duran, former cutman for Vladimir Klitschko, commented on the injury of WBC champion Tyson Fury (34-0-1, 24 KOs), which led to the postponement of the bout for the undisputed heavyweight championship (over 90.7 kg) against the holder of the WBO, WBA, IBO, and IBF titles, Oleksandr Usyk (21-0, 14 KOs).

- There's a 99% chance it won't happen again. There's no need to worry, just need to keep working.

- The fight was rescheduled for May 18. Would you be concerned about the cut reopening if you were in his camp and corner?

- You always prepare for the worst-case scenario. If it doesn’t happen, then I’ve done my job well. That’s a good question. What will Usyk do? Of course, he will work on that cut.

Likely, he will get close, engage more in the fight, possibly use his shoulder or something else might happen. It will be to his advantage. It'll be interesting. In my opinion, Tyson Fury's team needs a good experienced cutman.

The bout between Fury and Usyk was moved from February 17 to May 18 due to a cut Fury received during sparring.
