Eubank Misses Weight Ahead of Benn Fight: Weigh-In Results

On April 26, the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, UK will host a high-stakes middleweight bout (limit: 72.57 kg) between Chris Eubank Jr. (34-3, 25 KOs) and the undefeated Conor Benn (23-0, 14 KOs).

At the official weigh-in, Eubank Jr. failed to make weight, according to The Ring insider Mike Coppinger.

On his first attempt, Eubank tipped the scales at 72.66 kg.

On his second and final try, he came in at 72.6 kg — still over the contractual limit.

As per the terms of the contract, Eubank will be fined $500,000 for missing weight. Additionally, a fight-day weight cap of 77.1 kg has been set for Saturday morning — if he exceeds that, further penalties will apply.

Meanwhile, Conor Benn comfortably made weight, coming in at 70.9 kg.
