Eubank vs. Brook: Promoters in Negotiation

According to TalkSPORT, promoter Kalle Sauerland has confirmed that negotiations are ongoing for a fight between Chris Eubank Jr. (33-3, 24 KOs) and Kell Brook (40-3, 28 KOs), as well as with the WBO and IBF middleweight champion (up to 72,5 kg), Janibek Alimkhanuly (15-0, 10 KOs).

"Chris has already said that Gennady Golovkin and Canelo are two international names. He has been saying for years that these are the fighters he wants to face.

We had a good talk last week, and there are many options, the same as before, Kell Brook, and now there's a lot of discussion about Janibek Alimkhanuly for world championship titles, there are many different conversations.

I think the fight with Brook would be fantastic for Britain, but on an international level, many now recognize him as number one in the middleweight, the fight against Janibek is obvious, but the money needs to be right," said Sauerland.

In 2023, Chris Eubank Jr. fought two bouts against Liam Smith (33-4-1, 20 KOs). The fighters exchanged technical knockouts: Liam won in the 4th round in January, and during the rematch in September, Chris celebrated victory in the 10th round.

Brook last appeared in the ring at the beginning of 2022, defeating Amir Khan (34-6, 21 KOs) by technical knockout.

Alimkhanuly hasn't fought since October of the previous year, when he won by technical knockout against Vincenzo Gualtieri (21-1-1, 7 KOs).
