Estrada vs. Rodriguez Fight Nearing Finalization

According to journalist Fernando Sabatini, negotiations for the fight between WBC super flyweight champion (up to 52.16 kg) Juan Estrada (44-3, 28 KOs) and the holder of the WBO and IBF flyweight titles (up to 50.8 kg) Jesse Rodriguez (19-0, 12 KOs) are in the final stages.

The fight is preliminarily scheduled for June 28 in Phoenix, USA.

Juan Estrada has not been in the ring since 2022 when he defeated Argi Cortes (26-4-2, 10 KOs) and Roman Gonzalez (51-4, 41 KOs).

Last year, Jesse Rodriguez fought twice: in April against Christian Hernandez (15-2-1, 5 KOs) and in December against Sunny Edwards (20-1, 4 KOs). Jesse celebrated victory in both matches.
