ESPN has updated its rankings of the best boxers across weight classes following championship fights involving Sebastian Fundora, Serhii Bohachuk, and the match between Devin Haney and Ryan Garcia.
After the recent updates, in the heavyweight division, Zhang Zhilei and Filip Hrgovic have switched places. Now, the Chinese fighter occupies the sixth position, while the Croatian is in fifth.
WBO and WBC junior middleweight champion Sebastian Fundora moved up from fifth to first place after defeating Tim Tszyu. Serhii Bohachuk, previously not in the top ten, has taken the fifth spot. Just above him is Erickson Lubin, who was previously in sixth place.
Changes also occurred in the super lightweight division (up to 140 lbs). Teofimo Lopez now occupies the first spot (previously second), and Ryan Garcia moved from ninth to second place. Devin Haney, after his loss to Garcia, moved from the first position to fourth.
In the lightweight division, Denys Berinchyk has entered the rankings at the tenth spot. This marks the first appearance of the Ukrainian in ESPN's best lightweight rankings.
