British WBC heavyweight (over 90,7 kg) champion Tyson Fury (34-0-1, 24 KOs) has declared the current era as a renaissance for the heavyweight category.
"We are living in the era of a great revival of boxing in the super heavyweight division, ruled by the one and only king – Tyson Fury," Fury posted in his Instagram stories, along with a teaser for his fight against Oleksandr Usyk.
It's worth noting that Fury is the only boxer in the four-belt era to have held all the prestigious titles, though at different times: initially the WBA, WBO, IBF champion, and currently the WBC champion.
Also, February 17th was supposed to mark the first fight for the absolute heavyweight championship since 1999 against Oleksandr Usyk. However, the bout was postponed due to a cut Fury sustained.
