Ennis – Teofimo on the same card as Henry and Garcia. Turki reveals his plans

Turki Alalsikh, head of Saudi Arabia's General Entertainment Authority, has laid out an exciting vision involving champions Jaron Ennis (33-0, 29 KOs) and Teofimo Lopez (21-1, 13 KOs). He aims to pit them against each other and then lead the victor into a rematch between Henry and Garcia.

“It's simple... A fight in May (with Garcia and Henry each facing their respective opponents – ed.), then a big rematch in October, and on the same card we’ll attempt to arrange a bout between Teo and Buta. And then, in February, the winner against the winner and the loser against the defeated,” Turki explained.

He added, “This should be discussed with our partners – Top Rank, Matchroom, Golden Boy, and PBC.”

Henry and Garcia are set to meet after their intermediate bouts. Earlier, an insider had mentioned potential opponents for the American fighters.
