IBF welterweight (up to 66,68 kg) champion American Jaron Ennis (31-0, 28 KOs) says he's ready to meet British boxer Conor Benn (23-0, 14 KOs). As with anyone else, his main goal is bigger than just the next victory.
"I'll fight anyone. It doesn't matter who it is.
I want to get all the belts – WBA, WBC, and WBO. I want to be the undisputed champion – that's what concerns me," Ennis stated.
Jaron has signed a collaboration contract with Matchroom Boxing. Benn, who hinted at a possible fight against Ennis a few days ago, also works with them.
The last time the American was in the ring was in the summer of 2023, when he won by knockout against Roiman Villa. The Briton has one fight in 2024 – a decision victory over Peter Dobson. Ennis has never boxed outside the USA, and Benn, who is not allowed to box in Great Britain, also had his last two fights in America.
