"Either until March 4, or never": Usyk's promoter made a categorical statement about the fate of the superfight with Fury

Oleksandr Krasiuk, the promoter of the WBO/WBA/IBF/IBO super heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk (20-0, 13 KOs), talked about the preparation for the fight for the absolute world champion title with the WBC belt holder Tyson Fury (33-0-1 , 24 KO).

"The probability of a fight as of today is very high. Probably the highest probability that existed in the entire history of holding a match for the title of absolute world champion in super heavy weight".

"We have Usyk, we have K2, Usyk's team and all parties are 100% for holding this match. We have Tyson Fury, Tyson Fury's team, Queensberry Promotions and Top Rank who are as committed to this fight as we are. We have practically no stumbling blocks. We agreed on the dates and even possible locations for this match. Plan A, B and C. And I hope, with God's help, this fight can become a reality."

"March 4 is the most effective working date for us. We have offers from the Middle East, but no specifics yet. We are negotiating with Qatar and Saudi Arabia. But such a match can be accepted by the planet Mars, Jupiter or the Moon."

Earlier, Krasiuk said on social networks that the fight should take place no later than March 4. The promoter noted that both parties agreed to box.

Promoter Frank Warren said that the fight for the title of absolute world champion in super heavyweight between Usyk and Fury is a higher priority than the mandatory defense of the WBA belt, which the Ukrainian has to hold against Daniel Dubois.

The head of Top Rank, Bob Arum, told how negotiations are progressing regarding the organization of the fight for the title of absolute world champion in super heavyweight. According to him, IBF mandatory contender Filip Hrgovych will not prevent a unification fight between Usyk and Fury.
