The manager of WBA/WBO/IBF/IBO heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk, Egis Klimas, said that the fight with WBC title holder Tyson Fury can only take place on April 29th.
“Top Rank got involved, but not too much. They still treat Oleksandr Usyk the same way they treat Derek Chisora or Dillian Whyte. They're acting like it's just a normal Fury fight in the UK and it's got to be by Fury's rules."
"We're going to wait because right now we're hiring a British lawyer because they operate under British rules. We cannot simply agree to everything that is thrown at us."
"If this fight will take place, then only on April 29th. Or it will simply be canceled, and we will move on to a mandatory applicant," Klimas said.
