Egis Klimas Reveals When Oleksandr Usyk’s Next Fight Will Take Place

Egis Klimas, manager of WBA, WBC, WBO, and IBO heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk (23-0, 14 KOs), shared that his client’s approximate return to the ring will be “late July or August.”

“This will be a very lengthy preparation. After another 12 rounds with Fury, he needs a good, extended recovery.

Dubois? He has to beat Parker before he even starts thinking about Usyk,” Klimas said.

On December 21, Oleksandr Usyk defeated Tyson Fury by unanimous decision. On February 22, IBF heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois will defend his title against Joseph Parker. The winner of that bout is most likely to become Usyk’s next opponent.
