Edwin De Los Santos to Return on December 13

Former Lightweight title contender Edwin De Los Santos will make his long-awaited return to the ring after more than two years of inactivity.

The 26-year-old Dominican boxer is scheduled to fight on December 13 in his home country, the Dominican Republic, in an eight-round bout against an opponent yet to be announced.

Edwin De Los Santos (16-2, 14 KOs) last fought in November 2023, losing a unanimous decision to Shakur Stevenson.

In July, De Los Santos was set to face Keyshawn Davis for the WBO Lightweight title, but the fight was canceled after Davis failed to make weight and was subsequently stripped of the belt.

Following that incident, De Los Santos ended his partnership with promoter Samson Lewkowicz and signed with Fighters First Management.
